The idea for Essentials by Nature came to founder Jill Godin when her eldest daughter was diagnosed with asthma and allergies in 2016. She wanted to create something that was accessible and inclusive for all members of a family.

The line of handcrafted made products in Edmonton was therefore founded on the principle of providing products that are plant-based, sustainable and certified Leaping Bunny (cruelty-free).

Jill believes that a good product should not only be effective, but also harmless to our planet.
